When will the GalaxyS23 series be announced?
According to source Ice Universe, we’re expecting Wednesday, February 1stas the announcement date during Galaxy’s Unpacked event.
What are the official Galaxy S23 model names and sizes?
Similar to the S22 series, we can assume the Galaxy S23lineup will include three different models: Galaxy S23 (6.1”), Galaxy S23 Plus(6.6”) and Galaxy S23 Ultra (6.8”). There is another rumor from Ice Universe that the S23 devices may be slightly larger in overall dimensions because Samsung could be increasing the bezel thickness. This means the phone sizes would increase, but with little changes to the screen sizes. We’ll soon see if this rumor has any truth behind it!
What features could they have?
It seems that the Galaxy S23 series will not differ too much from the S22 series as far as design and display size. One change that could happen is the S23 base and S23 Plus models receiving an upgrade to their cameras to look like the Ultra models. This would mean the lenses are stacked vertically and individually instead of a group that blends into the side of the phone.
As far as performance, Twitter leaker AhmedQwaider says the Galaxy S23 lineup could have an improved cooling system to prevent overheating and a more sustainable performance for longer periods.
When it comes to colors, Galaxy S models typically differ in options for each model. But recently, there have been rumors about all three models sharing the same color options, which are Phantom Black, Lavender, Green and Cream.
How much will they cost?
We suspect the Galaxy S23 series will match the price of the Galaxy S22 series, starting at $799 for the base model, $999 for the Plus and$1,199 for the Ultra.
